Week 3 - XML Parsers
Jennifer Kyrnin
From Jennifer Kyrnin, your Guide to Web Design / HTML

In week 2, you learned about the rules and syntax to writing XML, but how do you actually USE the XML you've written? Well, the first step is with a parser. This is a program that can read XML.

Don't forget, if you miss a lesson you can have it resent to you.

Reading XML
It's Called Parsing

One of the most common questions about using XML is "What browser can I use to read my XML pages?" But instead of a browser, you need to use a tool to "parse" your XML. Some existing Web browsers also act as XML parsers.

More XML Parsers

There are many XML parsers available for your use.
